Whats the difference between eyeliner and lip liner?

their both like color pencils how do you tell the difference?Whats the difference between eyeliner and lip liner?
Eye liner goes on the eyes.


Lip liner goes on the lips.


Plain%26amp;simple.


However, as a make-up user myself, you can actually use the lip liner as an eye liner and/or vice versa.


It's basically the same thing. It's just the texture of the material inside the pencil that feels different.


Aside from that fact, you can use it vice versa there's no harm in using it that way.

eyeliner comes in dark colors such as black, dark blue, and brown. and will usually clearly say 'eyeliner' on it





and lip liner comes in more pinkish/reddish colors and/or colors that look fine on the lips. unlike black.
One quick way to tell the difference is by color. Most people don't want black, blue, green etc. lip liner.
The ingredients are pretty much the same- you could use both for either eyes or lips, depending on what color you wanted.
Not being funny but it is what it is. eyeliners are colors like brown, black ,grey but lip colors are more of lipstick colors

Well lip liner lines you lips and it usually says lip liner on it. Eyeliner lines your eyes and it usually says eye liner on it.

the lip one is lip stick really skinny so u can line ur lips so lipstick wont bleed...usually the lip liner is a darker color. eye liner is a different substance than the lip liner, since its made specifically for the eye.
Color. Generally lip liners are red, nude, pink, mauve. Eyeliners tend to be black, black/brown, brown.
eyeliner: meant to be put in eyes, obviously. comes in darker colors such as black, brown, green, purple ect.





lip liner: meant to be put around the lips to make them look bigger/fuller. comes in dark reds, purple, and brown.
