Why do I have so much more trouble applying eyeliner than lip liner?

Because eyes are more sensitive than lips.Why do I have so much more trouble applying eyeliner than lip liner?
eyeliner needs much more precision and there's little surface area to apply toWhy do I have so much more trouble applying eyeliner than lip liner?
because when you do lip liner ur applying to ur lip...but when you do eye liner ur bsically sticky some gunk in ur eye!

lips don't have all those lashes getting in the way AND are much larger. Also you can use both eyes when doing lips in eyeliner it is essential one eye be closed.

Well whenever anything is millimeters away from your eye, it tends to wanna twitch and get watery and blink, so its definately harder to control all that stuff than to control moving your lips.
practise makes perfect!

I have always, and I mean ALWAYS put my eyeliner UNDER my lower lashesand I use a pencil liner rather than liquid (actually I use both now) but i started with pencil and I concentrate on looking in the mirror and not on the actual act itself- if you run the eyeliner pencil under some hot water and then shake off the excess water and then start to line the eye it goes on much easier!!But under the lashes is safer, cleaner and easier!! Try it and see!

It's normal because your eye moves a little making it hard to put on. It's happened to me a lot.
You can't use the same technique with both so if you've mastered the lip liner you still need to change your style for the eye liner. Trying a non-liquid and not too soft eyeliner will help with control. Trying to be sure and not get too much eyeliner can add difficultry to applying it also! My advice is to get in front of a mirror with different kinds of eyeliner and see which ones you like best (do this on a day when you won't actually need to wear any in case you can't get one kind off, etc.) Eyeliner also require a steadier hand, try resting your elbow on something.
