Is it fine to use an eyeliner for a lip liner?

Yes: especially if you are talking about the pencils. They are the same product. Makeup companies sell them as two different products so you will buy twice as much from them. If you're talking about liquid eyeliner as lipliner, you can try it, but I don't imagine it would stay on very well, since most liquid eyeliners are water-based.

eyes are more delicate areas than lips so the eyeliner has a softer tip. Once used somewhere else cannot be used back on the eyes to prevent infections.





The liners are not that expensive to buy and even the colours do not match. Pick out a lip and an eye liner seperately for the season, it will not cost you much and will last for a long period of time.Is it fine to use an eyeliner for a lip liner?

Eyeliner will get harder and flatter then a lip liner would. Your lips would be boldly outlines that's for sure.

Depends on the color. If you are going to use an eyeliner as a lip liner make sure you get 2, you probably do not want to use the same one on your eyes that you are going to use on your lips because of bacteria.

eyeliner REALLY brings out eyes. yes yes 2 eyeliner. no lip liner cause when lipstick wears off there's just a line around your mouth. but eyeliner that's really lip liner- i dunno. what color is it???
Technically, makeup for your eyes is made for the most sensitive skin, so you can put it anywhere on your face (as long as you don't ingest too much of it, lol). You might find that eyeliner stays put better than lip liner.
