What's the best lip liner colour?

I've heard that nude is the best colour - is this true? Or is a darker shade like dark red/pink better?

well nude is great because you can put it under everything.


but it really depends on what look you're going for but a little bit of nude lip liner is great to stop the lipstick/gloss bleeding out the lip line.

nude is the best...body shop lip liner in beech is the best i swear by it...its a matte natural dusky nude pink and it really sexes up the lips...u can use it on top of other lip sticks or gloss to tone them down and create many beautiful natural colours...or u can wear it by itself to outline and color ur whole lips and it will look reallyyyy sexy yet natural.it smoothe and creamy and longlasting and it doesnt dehydrate the lips.i always get compliments wenever i wear this either with my makeup or by itself.can wear it with any makeup look too:) works wonders..ive been wearing it for 5 years never gone back to anything else:)
if you want your lips to b more thicker use nyx coffee. its almost the same color of the lips and looks natural even when i try to line above the edges. nude if u have pale lips ^^ . I think darker shades is good during night time.
exactly what 'candace b' said, have you seen people who wear a different coloured lip liner to their lip stick, it's not attractive.
Your lip liner should match the color of the lipstick you are wearing.
