Why do women use just a bold color when they use lip liner?

I've wondered that same thing. It looks horrible!!! Maybe it is a habit, a bad habit.Why do women use just a bold color when they use lip liner?
they don't know any better and it is probably carry over from the late 80s/early 90s when it ws the thing to have dark lip liner and lighter lip stick. if you need to wear liner, it is better to either match your actual lip color (nude color) or match the lip stick or lip gloss you are wearing.





however you only need liner if you want the lip color to be more long lasting or if it has a tendency to feather or bleed from your lip line. not everybody needs it.Why do women use just a bold color when they use lip liner?
because they're stupid..


that was a whole 90's thing that i personally never favoured. it looks like some kind of bacterial infection on your lips.


I don't mind a shade darker than your lip color, but like maroon is a completley different story...
