Can you use a lip-liner as a lip stain?

i dont like to use it to line my lips so can i put it on my lips as a lip stain?Can you use a lip-liner as a lip stain?
No, not really. Lip stains are very different to lip liners, and lip liner is likely to come off very quickly. If you like the colour of your lip liner then the best thing to do is to find a lip stain close to that colour. If you take the lip liner into the store they should be able to match it for you.


If you still want to try it though, exfoliate your lips with a toothbrush, then apply chapstick or vasaline, then your lip liner. Also a clear gloss on top is a good idea too. These will help the lip liner to stay on.

yes you can. it just has to be very very creamy. i do it all the time and it works!
