Can I use lip liner as an eye shadow?

I need to do a black and red smoky eye tomorrow but I can't find my red eyeliner. Can I replace it with red lip liner? I don't intend on putting it on my crease or anything like that.

the lipstick might be creamer than eyeliner but you can put little bit of your powder on it after you are done with your look.





Actually you can use lipstick as an eyeshadow, I have seen a makeup ';expert'; using lipstick as an eyeshadow and a blush and the result weren't that bad.
Sure, i sometimes use my neutral lipliner as a eyeliner.
