Lip liner?

I'm 16 and I have pretty big lips but I want to accentuate them. Do you think I'll look like I'm trying to be to old wearing lip liner? And are there certain shades that are less visible as opposed to an obvious shade? Because I think that would look to old for someone my age...Also, do you have to be wearing lipstick to wear lipliner? Thanks.Lip liner?

Pick out a shade of lip liner that is closest to your natural lip color, or a lipstick/lip gloss you use. You don't have to wear lipstick to wear lip liner, as long as it's not obvious. You might want to smoothen the lines out with a finger after you apply.Lip liner?
I wouldn't wear lip liner. It just doesn't look good on girls who already have decent-sized lips. There are shades that are less visible, but you'd have 2 match it 2 u're lipstick. Yes, you would have to wear lipstick with the lip liner.

I would only wear lip liner when its a special occasion. However, it is your choice! Get a shade that is a wee bit darker than your skin tone and your choice of color, and gently brush it just on the out side of the natural lip shape. And, you can top it off with lipstick in the same color family, or a gloss, or leave it nude. Whatever suits you.


OH! And NEVER do the icky 90s trend of wearing brown lip liner and frosty light pink lipstick. Can you say GROSS?

Well first off, you dont have to wear lipliner to wear lipstick. However it does look better if you do put on a lil' bit of lipliner because some lipsticks bleed, like red shades. If you really want to wear lipliner, I suggest that you don't put too much that all you see is the liner. When I use liner I line my lip lightly then smug it so that the liner is not too drastic. RONALD--- lip liner is for GIRLS. Unless you dress drag. then sure use natural colors, such as soft Cinnamon,soft Brown.
