it outlines your lips. they're kind of like eyeliner. except eyeliner is to outline your eyes. after putting on lip liner, it's recommended that you put lipstick or lip gloss afterwards. lip liner by itself wouldn't look that nice..What's lip liner?

Lip liner is colour for your lips that comes in small pencil form. It is to be used with lipstick and should match your lipstick colour.





Lip liner is not necessary but it helps define the shape of your lips and stops lipstick from 'bleeding' (smudging over your lip line)

Lip line is like a coloured pencil (like eye liner), you draw around you lips with it and then apply lipstick to make it look attractive//better//big I don't know , probibly to make them stand out.
Its a soft liner that you out in the edges of your lips and it help volumizes them and helps you keep you lip stick where you want it
