Hi, I'm a makeup artist at Sephora. I would be happy to help you. Any liner application (eyeliner or lip liner) takes a lot of practice to get the perfect line. Expect to mess up the first few times. After you practice a few times you'll get used to it and you will be drawing perfect lines before you know it.





It is very simple. I wouldn't use a sharp pencil. What I do is I let the tip of the pencil soften a little bit by just pinching it with my thumb and index finger. This will make it easier to glide. Start from the the outer lip and continue down. Do your upper lip first, then the bottom. Make sure the line is blended with your lips. If you don't, when you talk, it will look silly. Also, don't forget to connect the corners.

Use a sharp, sharp pencil and dry a line around the edge of your lips. If one side is bigger than the other, make them even. Fill in your lips with the liner so your lipstick will last longer. I like MAC liners or Make Up For Ever Aqua lips. You can get MAC at the MAC Store, a department store or through maccosmetics.com. You can get MUFE from Sephora or Sephora.com .
