Lip liner tattoo?

I have thin lips and I always put lip liner on that's the same colour as my lip to help make it look not so thin. I'm thinking of getting it permenantly done. Has anybody done this before? Any opinions or suggestions?

I know some people have done it a different colour to match the lip stick they usually wear and complain that it doesn't match when they want to wear a different shade.

But I just want to get it done so it looks natural and matches my natural lip colour.

Also, how much does it hurt???

I have tattoos on my back and they weren't too bad.

Do they do it the same way?Lip liner tattoo?
In this area the cost starts at 400 dollars for lipliner. Many people do have to go back in for touch ups to get the color just as they want it. Lip liner can also fade over time like any other tattoo.

It hurst quite a bit and swells. It is a set of tiny needles being stuck into the edges of your lip thousands of times. So have the procedure done when you will have a couple of days off of work and don't have any big dates lined up.

Your best suggestion is to find a VERY qualified practioner in your area and set up a consultation. You can even talk to a couple of artists and see what they feel will suit your needs, how they will perform it, and how much they will charge for the service they feel that you personally need.

This service is done in many doctor's offices, some high end spas, and even a few tattoo artists have become certified to perform it. Ask for credentials and inquire about training in the person you choose.

This is a site containing some information on permanent cosmetics that might help out.

remember, tattoos are forever...unless you want to pay a truck load to have them laser removed...

you may not always feel the same as you do today. in another five years, or ten or twenty, what seemed like a good idea today, may become a bad nightmare.
i dont think they so that .. sorry try google it maybe ??
Perminant makeup in my opinion is a bad idea. The shape and everything of your lips changes as you get older. Your lips will not look as good and straight later as they do now. Just keep lining them with pencil.

As with any tattoo, it is a perminant decision, but this one is on your face.
This lady I work with got it done, and she had to have it done 4 times because the color that she wanted to get didnt show up right on her lips and she didn't like it so she had to keep getting it re-done,and she said that it really hurt.
yes they do it the same way and it probably hurt the same if you want to make you lips look plumper just get lip injections or a plumping lip gloss the tattooing of the lips looks tacky.
hurts like a *****

looks like a *****

costs like a *****
