Well, I don't know about ';skank,'; but it is seriously unattractive. Your lip liner should match the shade of your liptick/gloss.
If it is a lot darker than the rest of your lips, then it is skanky because it is what skanks are known for. They are also known for extremely thin eyebrows, heavy makeup, and revealing, cheap clothes. Plus, darker lip liner just looks ridiculous.

the point of lip liner is not for it to be noticable, its for outlining the shape of yourlips naturally, and blending with the lipstick color. its not a fashion statement.


so dont do it, it looks like u had a Shaprie accident.

If it's a definite ';paint by numbers'; type of outline, it just looks funky and trashy. If that's what you're going for, it's not all-together a bad thing.

I don't know why it would be called that, but I seriously think it looks horrible and very very trashy when people wear a lip liner color darker than the rest of their lips. It makes them look very very cheap and like a joke and like they don't know how to apply makeup.

Actually, if you go for a makeover, or look on any make-up site, they'll recommend a shade of lip liner slighter darker then the lip stick you wear.


The key being ';A'; shade darker, not loads darker, but ever so slight.
