Is lip liner okay?

I got lipliner. (from bodyshop.) I thought it was eyeliner!!! lip liner comes over really easy. Should i return it? and get the lik 15 dollar one, or should i just stick with the lipliner and treat it as eye liner? Is lip liner okay?
First, whatever you do, do not stick with the lipliner and treat it as eye liner! They have very different chemical makeups and that is just generally not a good idea.

Second, if you use lipliner with caution, it can be ok. However, the mistake that most women make with lipliner is that they use a darker lipliner than their lipstick, and it ends up looking tacky and ridiculous.

But generally lipliner is not necessary, nor does it usually enhance ones appearance. I say take it back, eyeliner will be much more of an asset to you.Is lip liner okay?
Never use lip liner as eye liner! Go ahead and use it for those lips and make those lips pop!!!
omg never ever use lip liner. unless you want to look cheap be my guest. but return it and actually get something hat is for your eye!!!
not much of a fan
no i hate it.
use it for your lips
Just return it and buy eye liner, girl!
hello nina T i think it will b ok if you use it if it is matching with ur dress or eye shadow.

have fun
I've never used lipliner for eyeliner but I think that'd be ok! Just try it!
Why not. Please do use it with matching lipstick. Otherwise,

imagine just a ring around your lips. Or use it as a blush.

Some people use lip stick as blush, why not lip liner, as long

as you blend it well and wash it off well.
no dont use as eye liner.
its better than okay, it is necessary!! :) get a versatile shade that is a lil'bit darker than what you would normally wear--ie.Plum or Nude, or Mocoa...something that can be worn with any of those tones in general. apply in sections on your lips, cause if you put it on in one stroke, it is gonna look really weird. Top lip: start in the middle and do small stroke to define the cresting part of lip on top; then, from corners, move in to the middle, maybe even taking two strokes, depending on how wide and defined your lips are...bottom: start in corners and make a small stroke inward, but be a lil more daring when you finish the middle section by going just a smidge outside your natural lip line. this will add a plumpness to your lips and the gloss or lipstick you apply afterward will not run into those fine lines and small wrinkles under your lips. VIOLA', your lipstick will last longer throughout the day, and you will look good, too. (also, you can make that one stick of lipstick that you had bought at the store with the fancy lighting, assuming that it would look that good when you got home, and now you are stuck with it...into a different shade with a lip-liner pencil of your choosing and add in the color inside the lip area until desired shade is obtained...I recommend a wax self sharpening 'pen'/pencil over a wooden one that requires sharpening--less mess and no painful dry application.)
